Senator Jane Earll – Opening comments

The Senate Committee on Community, Economic and Recreational Development is gathered today to conduct a hearing on the Partnerships for Regional Economic Performance (“PREP“) proposed by the Department of Community and Economic Development.  

The PREP proposal is outlined in the Governor’s budget as an initiative that will encourage regional coordination of economic development efforts, yielding improved customer service to the business community and a more comprehensive statewide economic development strategy.
